Hello! Greetings! Salutations! What's up? Hi! Hey!
This is an introduction to my fellow bloggers because I want to introduce myself. I am me. If I wasn't, well then you've guessed it. I wouldn't be me. It makes perfect sense but no sense whatsoever. (Yeah paradoxes.)
Anyway a little about me. I feel like I can be considered a two-face. I have my quiet, responsible side, but I also have a hyper side. (Besides, everyone has a two-face. A Dr. Jekyll and a Mr. Hyde. It makes people interesting.) During Halloween I've had a little darker side where I think of more horrific stories about death and dreadful ghosts. But any who, it's just me.
I love writing because of what I can create. Making the characters is the best part. Deciding what to do with them, trying to find out who they are and who they will become. It allows me to think and take my mind off of my own worries and heartaches.
Right now you may be wondering why Hook? This introduction sounds too happy to be an intimidating, pirate. Well, that's the great thing about pen names. You can be whatever you want to be. You don't have to worry about what the format looks, how childish the name might sound, what other people may think. You are able to just write. To express yourself without the pressure to be perfect. Without the responsibility to sound extremely professional. I chose Hook because my heart isn't afraid to be youthful. My imagination isn't afraid to fight the dragon, to save the day. My happy thoughts are able to run wild with the soaring dreams, and the secret wishes. Why Hook? It's the child coming out to play. I may seem cheesy, or dramatic, but hey. It's just me.
